  • Q: What kind of bear is Little Bear?
    A: Little Bear is a brown bear.

  • Q: How old is Little Bear?
    A: Little Bear is the same age you are. His birthday is in the spring when bears come out of hibernation. Mother Bear and Father Bear are the same age as your parents.

  • Q: Why doesn't Little Bear wear any clothes when his parents do?
    A: Little Bear doesn't need clothes, except when it gets a little chilly out, then he wears a scarf and hat. It's also easier to climb trees if you don't wear clothes.

  • Q: What kind of teeth does Little Bear have?
    A: They are real bear's teeth. Little Bear is losing his baby teeth and getting his big teeth.

  • Q: Why doesn't Little Bear grow?
    A: Little Bear grows a little bit each day, just like you!

  • Q: How did Mitzi come into Little Bear's world.
    A: Mitzi came to the forest on a train. Her parents are explorers and she asked if she could stay in the forest for awhile. She likes to climb trees and sleep in them too. Her favorite toy is a little monster. She likes to scare Emily with her little monster.

  • Q: Does Little Bear have any upcoming live tours?
    A: Not yet, but keep checking the website for Little Bear news.

  • Q: Are there any Little Bear books out that are based on the Nick Jr. series?
    A: There are no books based on the series yet. We keep working on it, though. We hope you enjoy the originals written by Else Minarik, who also wrote some of the best stories on the series.

  • Q: When will new episodes of "Little Bear" air?
    A: The new Little Bear season began January 4, 1999.

  • Q: What is Little Bear's favorite food?
    LB: My favorite food is Mother Bear's chocolate cake. My favorite thing to do is painting or drawing. My favorite bedtime story is anything with a goblin in it. The goblin's shoes go 'pit-pat, pit-pat, pit-pat.'

  • Q: When is Mother Bear having a baby?
    LB: I don't know when Mother Bear is having a baby. I would like to help take care of a Little, Little Bear.

  • Q: How come Little Bear can fly if he doesn't have any wings?
    LB: You're right. I don't have wings. I'm just pretend flying. I take really, really big jumps on the ground and pretend.
