My Themometer
Once time last year in 2005 we made a themometer. We made it with a small glass container, green water,
a rubber stopper,a straw, and a marker. When we got the glass container it was already filled with green water.
We had to take the stopper out and put the straw in the hole.
Then we had to push the stopper down hard into the glass(it didn't break).
Then the green water went up into the straw. Then we had to mark how far the water went up.
Then we had to get a cup of cold water from my teacher.
Then we put the container into the cup to see what it would do.
Then my group noticed that the water was going down so then we told the teacher about our observation.
Then she gave us a cup of hot water so we could put the container in the hot water.
Before we put the container in the hot water we marked the straw.
After we put the container in the hot water we noticed that the water was going up.
We told the teacher about that, then she told us that we just made a themometer the "olde fashioned way".

how does noise affected a persons consetration?
FIRST,THE CLASS DECIDED TO PICK 10 PEOPLE TO TAKE A TEST WHILE THE OTHER CLASS MATES DID DIFFRENT
KINDS OF NOISE'S WE DID SOMTHING
CALLED RECORDERS AND CLASSICAL
MUSIC AND ALSO WE DID SILENCE
AND ONE MORE WAS TALKING AND
IT WAS DIFFRENT FOR ME BECAUSE
I HAD TO TAKE A TEST WITH DIFFRENT
KINDS OF NOISE'S AND WE FIGURED
OUT THAT WE DID BEST WHEN IT WAS ON CLASSICAL MUSIC AND WE DID
GOOD ON SILENCE AND WE DID BAD
WHEN THE CLASS WAS TALKING AND
ALSO,WE DID THE WORST WHEN THE CLASS WAS PLAYING THE RECORDERS
AND WE FIGURED OUT THAT MY TEACHER MS.C SHOULD PUT ON CLASSICAL MUSIC WHILE WE DO ARE
WORK BECAUSE WECAN CONSITRAT
ON ARE WORK BETTER!!!!!

Paper Towel Test
For the Science Fair, we were told that we were only allowed to do an experiment.
So, I conducted one to test which brand of paper towel was the strongest and most absorbant.
I tested how much it absorbed by measuring out 10mL of water for each paper towel.
Then, I folded them each in the same way and put them in the water for 10 sec.
The paper towels I tested were Viva, 7th Generation, Western Family Brand, and Bounty.
The other test I did was for strength. I dunked them in water and then rolled them into balls.
5 minutes later, I unrolled them. 2 of them were soggy messes- 7th Generation and Viva.
One of them I could still unroll it, but it had some rips in it.
That was the cheapest, Western Family brand. Bounty came out on top for both tests.
It unrolled easily and had no rips. It was also still useable after that.
If you have big messes in your house, I would recommend Bounty.
For smaller messes, I would just buy Western Family. It does the job, and is still strong enough
to use.

Who Wants Salty Milk
On February I had to do a science project.I did the question will milk spoil with salt or without salt?
Our science teacher Mr.Nacinovich or as a lot of people call him Mr.Paul
gave me a 4 for science.I feel really proud of myself!

My class and I made boats. We found
out that the way its shaped makes it
flout and sink.

Easy Build Motor
My dad said he would show me how to make a motor from A plyer, a hammer, 3 paper-clips, 2 long nails, 6 short nails, 2 pieces of loooooong wire, a 6v. battery, a board of wood, and 2 D batteries for a month now.
The day had finally come. We got the material out and started.
First my dad and I hammered the 2 long nails in then wrapped the 2 wires around them seperately.
Then we nailed in the 4 short nails into the wooden board above the 2 long nails in 2 equal rows
and we circeled the wire around each nail once. Next my dad and I got the last 2 short nails and hammered them in.
We , then, hooked a paper clip around each one.
Then we bent the tip of each paper clip into a loop kind-of shape with the plyer.
Next, we bent the last paperclip so that it had 2 strips of metal sticking out of it
and after that was done, we bent the tips of each strip into a right-angle then hooked it into the 1st 2 paperclips.
This is the hard part; we needed to balance the paperclip so the elictrical flux could push the paper clip
easily. We then attached the 6v. battery to the wires.
Finally, to give it more juice, we added the 2 D batteries to the 6v. battery and tested our newly made motor.
"It works!!!!!" I cried excitedly.
I told my classmates at school how i built the motor;
they didn't beleive me until they came to my house and saw it for themselves.
I was realy proud and thanked my daddy for helping me make this motor.
I told him" I'm going to enter this project in the science fair. I'm going to win if i do".
How it works: An electrical flux acts like invisible hands pushing the paperclip.
Balance is also needed in the paperclip so that the electrical flux can push it easily.

tip top
Me&my dad set up some dominos. Then we pushed them, but it go as planed becouse the dominos sliped off each-
eachother becouse they have smooth edges & no pointy edges & that would probebly happen to a tiki.

Racing Time
My best science project is when I took a pizza box and colored a race track on it.
I took a piece of paper and drew a racecar on it. I taped a paper clip on it.
I put it on the top of the box. I put a magnet under the box and raced the racecar.

Water
There are water moluces. There`s 3 out of 4 water on Earth and 1 out of 4 of land.
There is a thing called the water cycle. The main thing in the water cycle is evaporation, condensation,
and precipation. In the atmosphere is water vapor. Here is the ingredens of
water it is temperture, air pressure, volume, and density.
