How Porky is your pig
I fried a number of brands of bacon and found out which s healthiest for you.
I hypothesised that the cheapest would be less fatening. but it wasn't so I was wrong.
now we buy that brand of bacon only because it is healthier for you.
it also tastes better a little soggy but even if it wasn't fried to a crisp it still was less fatening!

Harmful Chemicals
Hey! My name is Rachika.
In my science class we had to do a project on harmful chemicals and why we should not have unnecessary
things in the lab when the lab is in use.
I was very proud of this project because I did my best on it and because I received an 100% for my grade!!!!

Paper Clip Experiment
This is a cool expiriment which shows that water can be like you! Try it!
Ingridients:Bowl,2paperclips,few pieces of tissue paper,pencil
1.Fill the bowl with water
2. Try to make a paperclip float. It doesnt float. Right?
3.Now then, get the second paperclip out. If you use the first one.
It will sink anyways because it is already watery.
4.dont put the paperclip into the bowl yet.
place a piece of tissue paper about the size of 2cm wide and long.
And place it into the water. 5.QUCKLY! put the peperclip on the tissue paper!
6.now wait for 5 seconds until the tissue paper sinks a bit,
now push the tissue paper below making sure the pencil and the
tissue paper don't touch the paperclip. It will float!
-This happens because of water tension -
It is like a layer of skin madeby water moelcules. -
The tissue paper help it group together to make a wall that stops the paperclip from sinking
-To make your water even stronger, add a few dabs of baby powder

Carbon Dioxide
I love working with
acids and baking soda, its just fun to watch the bubbly mixture froth up.
That stuff is called Carbon Dioxide.
I remenber when I put white vinagar, lemon juice, kool-aid, watery salsa, balsamic vinagar and red wine vinagar
into sepret bottles. One by one, I put little pakets of baking soda in the bottle,
put the cork on, shook it up, and then timed it. White Vinagar was the fastest followed
1 second close to lemon juice and watery salsa and kool- aid didn't produce Carbon Dioxide.
If you want to try this, I suggest doing it in the bathroom, it's a messy experiment!

The clean penny!!!
Once, there was a penny made in 1950!!!
A class put water, vinegar, and sugar into a container.
They stuck the penny in the substance for 20 seconds.
When they took the penny out, it was clean!!! But how? When the water, vinegar,
and sugar were mixed, it created a chemical that was able to clean the penny.
It is very fun!! You try it!!!
