Lisa Parr

When Primate Scientist Lisa Parr was a girl, she wanted to be a doctor. In college, she learned about the exciting world of primates. Now, at the Yerkes Primate Research Center, she studies how chimpanzees communicate with their facial expressions and gestures. She investigates how chimps display whether they are afraid, angry or threatened. Lisa hopes to learn more about human emotions by studying these amazing primates!
