1. Tie one end of the string around the middle of a wooden match.
2. Draw the string all the way through the record's center, so it rests on the match stick. Hold the string up high, pull the record back, and watch it swing. The record flips around all over the place.
3. Try this instead - take the record and give it a spin. Now swing it. It swings smoothly!
