Ruff just finished shooting his first ever FETCH! promo, "Busy As a Bee," but he couldn't get out of his bee costume because the zipper was broken! Bees on the brain, Ruff challenged Brian and Khalil to learn how to be beekeepers. Anna and Julia's challenge had nothing to do with bees-they learned how to windsurf with the help of windsurfing champion, Nevin Sayre.
Brian and Khalil, the "beestees," returned to Studio G with a jar of delicious golden honey to share with the other FETCHers. It was an affair of sticky fingers. (They had forgotten to bring spoons!) Anna and Julia, thrilled about their windsurfing challenge returned to Studio G with smiles and soggy bottoms. (They were still wet from the beach.) Meanwhile Taylor and Noah were glad to welcome all of them back to the studio.
For "looking ready to combat bees, gamma rays, and aliens" Brian and Khalil (still in their bee costumes) earned 10 points. Brian, who had a traumatizing experience with bees in his youth, stayed far away from the hives, leaving Khalil to do most of the sticky work. For smoking the hive all on his own, Khalil earned 40 points. Brian, was awarded 25 points for wisely avoiding the beehives. For playing it cool in the face of Brian's fears, Khalil earned 5 points. Finally, both "beestees" won 35 points for digging the hive and gathering pollen.
Anna and Julia were exceptional windsurfers; they successfully balanced, sheeted, and steered their boards. That got them 50 points each. The second part of their challenge involved rescuing 25 rubber duckies with fishnets. They got 20 of 25 ducks, the ever-dutiful Murray later captured the remaining 5 ducks from doom. For the duck rescue, the girls earned 21 points. Last of all, they earned 20 more points for having fun!
As always, Ruff had more points to give away and awarded Anna 5 bonus points for mentioning "doggy" paddle in front of the camera. Anna, the windsurfing wonder, won with 96 points!
