Ruff decided to turn over a new leaf--the stress of running a TV show would no longer get to him-no siree. He sent the FETCHers to a spa to learn about yoga and how to get their heart rates down. Then it was on to an amusement park to get their pulses racing and scientifically measure their "fear factor."
After learning to slow their pulses using various yoga exercises and breathing techniques, the FETCHers were launched into an entirely different world filled with steep drops, backward spins, and wild falls. They rode some of New England's most terrifying rides: the Piranha, the Corkscrew, and Da Vinci's Dream. They had to design a test that would help them determine which roller coaster ride was the wildest. They used their pulse rates to measure the intensity of each ride: the higher the pulse, the wilder the ride.
Each FETCHer earned 25 points for the yoga exercise and 50 points for designing a roller coaster test, collecting data, and presenting their findings in a graph. Brian and Khalil earned extra points for going on the Star Blaster ride.
Bonus points went to Brian for his continuous commentary as he rode the roller coaster.
Brian was the winner. His prize? Lowered from the ceiling of Studio G (for dramatic effect), the prize was a huge yoga ball. Ruff tried to demonstrate the proper way to use the ball but fell backwards and whined about needing to visit the chiropractor.
