Bad news! Ruff just found out there's a law that says dogs can't host game shows for humans. He called his representative for help but when he heard that there was no Local Dog Officer of Canine-Human Affairs, he decided he was the dog for the job. The best way to promote his campaign was to have a float in a parade, so he sent Sammy, Noël, and DJ out to build one. They designed the float (to look like Ruff of course), then they built it out of foam, painted it, slapped some flowers on there, and rode on it in the parade!
Ruff also needed a campaign manager and no dog knows more about the government than Splash Kennedy (that's Senator Ted Kennedy's dog). So Sam went to Washington, DC to find out what it's like being an elected official. The Senator gave Sam an official job of researching whether the school day should be longer by talking to kids, teachers, and the Secretary of Education. He found out that the majority of people did want a longer school day, and Ted offered him a permanent job. But Sam was tired of wearing a suit and wanted to get back to Studio G.
In the meantime, Harsha and Jay were busy earning 45 points in the halftime quiz show.
When the parade technicians and the politician returned, they took a look at the Triumph Tally:
Sam scored:
Giving him a total of 80 points!
Sammy, Noël, and DJ scored:
Giving them a total of 80 points!
BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"
Sam earned 5 bonus points for unofficially starting his career as a government official. That made Sam the daily winner and he won a root beer float which he shared with the rest of the FETCHers. Isn't he sweet?
