Ruff was recruited to play goalie in a big hockey game, but he didn't actually know how to be a goalie! And what's worse, he was playing against his brother Scruff's team. So he sent Harsha and DJ out to learn about hockey. They met with Joe, a goalie coach, and saw what happened to the Rufflica when Joe shot hockey pucks at it. Then they found out what a goalie uniform's padding is made out of. Their final challenge was to create enough padding for Ruff to keep him safe when he plays goalie.
Meanwhile, Scruff was trying to prove he's better than Ruff not only at hockey but at being a game show host too! It's not that easy to do someone else's job though and Noël and Jay learned that the hard way in the switcheroo. Noël had to live at Jay's house and Jay had to live at Noël's house. They each had three assignments: help your parents, hang out with your siblings, and participate in an after school activity. It wasn't easy but they did their pool vacuuming and their cheerleading and got along great with their new families.
In the meantime, Sammy and Sam were busy earning a whopping 50 points in the halftime quiz show.
Back at Studio G, it was time to settle in for the Triumph Tally:
DJ and Harsha scored:
Giving them a total of 70 points!
Noël scored:
Jay scored:
BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"
DJ earned five big bonus points for coining a new dictionary-worthy word: Rufflica! That's pure genius. The daily winner was Jay with his 90 points, and his prize was a lacrosse ball, T-shirt, tickets to a major league game, and a chance to be the ball boy!
