Ruff's environmentally-conscious, Swedish rock star cousin, Rüf Rüfman, was playing a one-night show in South Carolina. Ruff wanted to play in the band but Rüf said only if he learned how to rock, and found him a green place to stay in South Carolina.
So first things first Ruff sent Sterling and Liza to The School of Groove to learn how to be rock stars. Sterling picked up a guitar and started writing a blues song. Liza worked on her vocals, tried to find her inner scream, and wrote some Ruffish lyrics. They put it all together and performed at a big gig and the crowd went wild!
To accomplish Rüf's other requirement, Talia and Isaac went to South Carolina to learn all about green building. Their challenge was to build Rüf a doghouse that would stay cool, use renewable energy, and give back to the environment. They designed and built an awesome green doghouse with local, recycled wood, a green roof, solar panels, and rainwater barrels. The inspector approved the Dog Lodge and it was all ready for Rüf!
Brian and Bethany stayed back at the ranch and earned 30 points in the Halftime Quiz Show!
Finally the FETCHers all met back at Studio G for the Triumph Tally:
Isaac and Talia scored:
Sterling and Liza scored:
BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"
Talia won 5 bonus points for having the idea to use a grass roof on the doghouse, and for explaining how it absorbs CO2! With 85 points she was the daily winner and her prize was a hand-powered radio/flashlight! Rockin'!
