Ruff thought his latest invention, Crustationery, was brilliant instead of writing letters on paper, Ruff's customers would write letters on crustaceans (like crabs and shrimp) which would then be delivered across the Atlantic Ocean by racecar. He was convinced it was a great idea but he just needed to work out a few kinks.
Talia went out to sea on a shrimp boat to learn more about crusteaceans and collect some for Ruff. She said hi to some dolphins and then got down to business checking the shrimp nets. She found all kinds of sea life mixed up in the nets, like spider crabs, horseshoe crabs, and mantis shrimp. The live shrimp were kind of gross but she got used to them and collected a whole pound for Ruff for his Crustationary awesome!
Ruff also needed a way to deliver the crustaceans over land. He decided to use racecars and sent Bethany, Brian, and Isaac to learn how to drive them! They learned about friction and the ideal racing line then jumped in the cars and they were off! Their times were close but Brian finished in first place!
Back at the shrimp-less Studio G, Sterling and Liza competed in the Halftime Quiz Show and earned 45 points!
After all the driving and shrimping, the FETCHers met back at Studio G for the Triumph Tally:
Isaac, Bethany, and Brian scored:
Giving them a total of 75 points!
Talia scored:
Giving her a total of 80 points!
BUT: "Is that all the points a dog can give?"
Bethany got the most improved award for 10 big bonus points because she moved up from 3rd place to 2nd place in the final race. That made her the daily winner with 85 points, earning her a big stuffed shrimp! (The toy, not the food.)
