George Shrinks - Modeling Dough
Make your own life-sized George model. Click on George to print a picture
of George, follow the recipe for the dough, and away you go! You're
ready for an adventure with your new toy! Ovens get very hot so remember
to ask for an adult's help.
Ingredients:
· 1 cup warm water
· 1 cup salt
· 2 cups all purpose flour
· Bowl and spoon for mixing
· Optional: egg white, vegetable oil, or food coloring
Directions:
1. Mix water, salt, and flour in a bowl and knead until smooth.
2. Make a little George model with the dough. Brush with
egg white or vegetable oil for an easy glaze, or paint with food
coloring before baking.
3. Oven: Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown. Microwave:
for small sculptures, bake on high for about 7 minutes, or a little
longer for bigger sculptures.
4. Let cool and then create your own George Shrinks adventures
around your house.
