How about when you were my age? What made you mad back then? How did you deal with it?
Do you feel like you deal with anger better now than you did when you were younger?
Sometimes I’m so angry I feel like I could explode. What should I do when I feel like this?
Can I have time to myself if I need to chill out?
Sometimes your temper scares me or causes problems with the family. Can we talk about ways that you can get over your anger without acting mad at home?
What can we do together to help each other release our anger in a positive way?
If I thought I needed to talk to a counselor about my anger or someone else’s, would you help me?
