Discussion questions for kids to bring up with adults
Did you ever have to go through a move when you were younger? What was the worst part about it? What was the best part? How did you deal? What do you think are the biggest differences between this home and the new one? What do you think will be the hardest part for YOU about the move? What do you think will be the hardest part for me? Saying goodbye to my friends is going to be really difficult. Can you help me plan some extra time with them before we move, or do something special like throw a party? I know that moving takes a lot of work. What can I do to make it easier? Can you give me any specific jobs or things to be in charge of? Once we get there, what are some things we can do as a family to explore and get to know our new area?
