Topics in Family:
"Me and my brother fight about toys and money."
--Shawn, 12

"My sister Kiara and I fight mostly about stupid things. Who gets to sit in the front seat or who gets the remote to watch shows that we know the other doesn't want to watch. As we get older, we understand that we should be fair. 6th and 8th graders shouldn't do such things. We still love each other."
--Ashad, 11

"This is not about me and my brother fighting, it's about my dad and brother fighting. I hate when they fight. It hurts to see. I need advice on how I can help them."
--Tonya

"The thing my siblings and I fight the most about is over sharing the computer. My older siblings always have projects or papers due. They complain that their work is more important. Although I agree with them, I still enjoy spending my own time on the computer and playing educational games. As you can see, this immediately turns into a fight."
--Ana, 10

"My sister is always mocking me and then saying I was being an annoying brother and I get in trouble."
--Jake, 11

"I am the oldest and while it is nice for some things, like being able to do more stuff, have privileges, and get more money in my Valentine's card, it is sometimes annoying. I think I might be less crabby (not that I am all the time) if I didn't have a little brother. My mom and dad always yell at ME when we fight, because they say I should know better. I hate it. I know this sounds crazy, but I'd like to have lots of sisters my age, an older bratty sister, and a big brother that beats me up but likes me on the inside. Because my brother is loud, gross, annoying, and bratty, we fight ALL the time."
--Olivia, 9

"My brother is OK but most of the time he is a jerk. When I ask him for help, he complains. I love him though!"
--Ashley, 10

"My sister and I always fight!!!!!!! She gets me into trouble and blames things on me and tells, tells, tells!!!!"
--Kelsi, 10

"I think my brothers are weird, really weird. I have another brother or sister on the way and I don't know what he or she will be like."
--Mackenzie, 9

"Me and my older 13 year old sister fight over my puppy. She always says it is her turn for Sophie (my dog) to sleep on her bed, but I think the opposite."
--Hannah, 11

"My brother is a pain. He gets me in trouble a lot. He hits me with a ball every day! Every time he gets in trouble I get in trouble too! Sometimes he paints on my wall."
--Brittany, 9

"I have a younger brother who is 13 years old. His name is Tommy. He and I fight about the stupidest things! When we fight, we call each other names and we kick and punch each other, but we always end up laughing it off."
--Meghan

"When my brother gets in my business he gets me mad. Even though he makes me mad, I still love him."
--Bianca, 9

"Why are brothers and sisters so annoying?"
--Derek, 10

"My brother is so annoying."
--Nicole, 12

"Me and my sis fight over the guinea pig because he is adorable."
--Kelsey, 8

"I've got a big temper problem. When my little brother gets me mad, I get mad and start to beat him up and get in a lot of trouble."
--Lonia, 10

"I can't stand my little brother! He is always getting into my stuff!!!"
--Meredith, 11

"We fight about the remote and lots of things I can't even tell you! I usually go get my mom but she tells me to figure it out on my own. Then I lie and say mom told them to do this or they will be grounded. EHAHAHEHA!"
--Lauren, 11

"My little sisters are the weirdest and most annoying sisters in the whole world. Whenever I tell them to be quiet or to get out of my room, they just keep on with their business, which is usually playing Barbie or fighting. Sometimes when they get on my nerves too much (all the time), I call my mom and she takes care of it. Other times I handle it all by myself and I start fighting with them. Sometimes I handle it by myself, but other times I get so frustrated that I call my mom to get them in trouble. Besides that, my sisters are pretty good and calm (SOMETIMES). That is all I can say about my sisters."
--Jessica, 11

"We fight about everything. We will hit, punch and anything else you can think of. We will get our dad involved, but not our mom. We will go to our rooms and not talk to each other for a long time."
--Amy, 12

"Oh brother, my brother is a crazy person. Every time he's mad he acts stupid. Sometimes when I breathe he punches me! I wish I didn't live with him."
--Azeez, 10

"Me and my lil' sister are alwayz fighting about who our parents love more!!! I always win by simply saying that I was born first!! But afterwards, I feel really really bad because she looks sooo sad and she goes to her room and cries!! She knows that because I was born first, I get to do more and get more attention so I go and tell her that if she was born first, she would have to do more around the house!! Then she starts to laugh a lot and she says she loves me!! I still know that I'm the favorite!!"
--Misti, 12

"I do it my way. My little sister is 6 and we will get so annoyed at each other that we get in an argument and she will hit me or I'll push her. Then she will make up a lie and use it to tell on me and that makes me get grounded."
--Tyler, 11

"I have an older brother (17), an older sister (16), and a younger brother (9). I get along with some of them most of the time, but other times I wish that they were not related to me or that I never knew them. I love them a lot and really care for them, but sometimes they can really get on my nerves."
--Kelly, 11

"She gets away with everything and I get the blame."
--Meg, 10

"My little 6 year old brother can be really annoying and because he has our parents on his side, he never seems to get into trouble!"
--Amber, 12

"My sister is violent and she's a tomboy. She tries to do everything I do. Sometimes I fight with her because she gets on my nerves. One time my older sister got me really ticked off. Then my little sister bothers me so my mom says I can punch her in the arm if she does it again. I wish I had a better sister."
--Evan, 10

"We fight about anything and they usually bring in the parents but I never do. It's sort of not fair because I'm the oldest and there are two of them, so they believe them!!!"
--Jasmine, 12
