Since you didn’t stay over at Uncle Jesse’s, your mom insists that you all at least have breakfast there. But your aunt and uncle are mad that the family got a motel instead of sleeping at their house, and by the end of the meal, everybody’s in a bad mood. What was supposed to be quality time with relatives is now tense and awkward.
Eventually, you hit the road, and the rest of the drive is mostly quiet. When you finally arrive at your hotel in Beach City later in the day, you’re not feeling up to do much besides watch TV.
Ugh…not a good start to the vacation! Let’s hope things get better!
