After you swim onto the bus, you find Tyler and recount how you left your homework at home. Zack, a kid in your history class, overhears you and says, “You don’t have to get a zero on the assignment. I’ll let you copy my homework answers if you agree to do the same for me sometime.”
“I wouldn’t do that,” Tyler tells you. “You’ve never cheated before, and you shouldn’t start now. If you work hard for the rest of the semester, you can make up for one zero on a homework assignment.”
“Don’t listen to goody-two-flippers here,” says Zack. “Didn’t your parents say that they’d make you quit the SCUBA soccer team if your grade average falls any lower? Just copy my paper. It’s no big deal. Everybody does it.”
