Discussion questions for kids to bring up with adults I’d like to try to spend less of my money. Can we talk about ways I might control my spending? Do you think I spend my money on the wrong things? What do you think I should change? Do you sometimes have trouble controlling your spending? If so, what do you do to cut back? Do you compare prices when you’re shopping? Can you show me how to do it? What’s your idea of a “good bargain” or a “good value” when it comes to shopping? If I need or want something, can you help me look around and find the best price? There’s a lot of pressure at school to wear expensive, trendy clothes. How do you think I can have a good wardrobe without breaking the bank?
