Kids World Sports (KWS) is a high-octane, jam-packed sports documentary series for tweens. Each episode features two kids, from across the globe, striving for excellence in their chosen sports. These young athletes don't just have medal dreams – each has personal goals shaped by their unique circumstances.
KWS profiles kids who have the real potential to become tomorrow's sports heroes. They range in age from 12 to 18 and the sports they play cover the traditional (hockey) to the truly extreme (traction kite racing!). Each story centers around a significant or pivotal moment in the athlete's life: the national team tryout, the big game, the scouting visit, the first time competing.
KWS follows the athlete during the hours leading up to the main event: the training, the preparation and the rituals. But the story delves deeper, revealing the struggles, the triumphs and the failures of each kid's journey.
KWS explores the areas of the athlete's life that other kids are curious about: Who are their friends? What about their family life? What do they eat? How do they balance school? Juggle a job?
Whether they win or lose, these kids serve as an inspiration for young athletes everywhere.
