What is meringue?

Meringue is a fight match, similar to judo, in which two competitors score points by landing hits or kicks on the opponent.

How to meringue

This sport is part fight, part art form. The goal is to make the coolest looking moves. The moves appear almost dance-like, and the sport is intended to look artistic. The match is performed to drum music.

How to win

Fighters score points during the match. A fighter earns one point for a low foot kick that connects with the opponent, two points for a low foot kick to the opponent’s side and three points for a leg kick to the opponent’s head. The fighter who earns the most points wins.
