In mountain biking, the rider of the bicycle races the mountain bike on a mountain trail over ground and rocks, and up and down hills.
The person who rides the mountain bike is called the “cyclist.”
The cyclist uses strength, speed and athleticism to control the bike over a path and travel the rugged course in the fastest time possible. The cyclist can also make adjustments to the bike so it rides better, faster over the course.
The cyclist who completes the course in the fastest time wins.
