Niosha lived in a tiny village on the island of Hawaii. Her favorite thing to do was surf. Everyday after she finished her chores, she would go surfing. One day as she was surfing, she noticed something off in the distance. She paddled over and discovered a wounded dolphin floating in the water. She knew she couldn´t leave him there or he would die. Quickly, she swam to get her Uncle Leo. He was a marine biologist and would know what to do.

One story from each participating PBS station has been randomly selected.
