Walter´s Pumpkin House was luxurious, especially if you´re a mouse.  It had a pine needle couch tied together with twine.  It also had a table made of a mushroom.  A rug of moss lay on the floor.  Walter´s bed was mad of a matchbox with 4 little twigs for bedposts.  The mattress was milkweek. There was a little mouse candle, which had been on someone´s birthday cake once upon a time.  Hanging on the wall was a poster of "Cheeses Around the World."  Walter had worked very hard hollowing the pumpkin, making his furniture, and setting each item in its place.  He was very content living there.

One story from each participating PBS station has been randomly selected.
