The first third graders to go into the cafeteria were in for a big, very big surprise. The blob, made of cafeteria food (such as rubbery broccoli, mushy carrots, mystery hot dogs and alien-brain burgers) had blobofied all the lunch ladies. "blobofied" means to absorb something, drain its energyand deabsorb it. (when the blob deabsorbs the victim, the victim is left unconscious). Having seen this, 9 year old Arielle* starts screming helplessly and is absorbed by the blob instantly. All the children, excluding Arielle, who is being blobofied (duh), run screaming into each and every classroom.

*Author´s note: In every monster story, someone is shieking helplessly. In this case, it is Arielle, who fits the description perfectly.
