She had been dreaming about this day for weeks. Tonight was the father-daughter dance. Rachael was so excited. She ate her supper, then ran into her room. The beautiful dress her grandmother had bought her was lying on her bed. The dress was black satin with a pink satin bow. It made her feel pretty when she put it on. She looked in her mirror and brushed her hair.
