I´ve always been afraid of heights, and as we drove into the parking lot of the City Museum, my hopes sank.  I gazed at an outdoor jungle-gym that was about 70 feet high!  My little brother Logan raced over and started climbing.  I stood there in awe.  My mom bit her lip.  "Don´t worry, I´m sure the museum has many other things to do," she said.

That´s when I realized that the playground was made almost entirely out of junk.  There were two airplanes, a fire truck, the arm of a crane, even a school bus connected by wrought-iron slinkys and lots of scrap metal.  "An artist collected all this and built a sculpture kids could climb on," said Dad.

"Kids who aren´t afraid of heights?"
"I guess."

One story from each participating PBS station has been randomly selected.
