GIANT ThoughtsWhat would it feel like to be a giant and be looking down upon everything? Pretend you are a giant. How would you walk, talk, and move? What special things would you do as a giant? Write down your thoughts on a piece of paper. Have an older family member help with your spelling or sound out the words the best you can. Draw a picture of what you would look like as a giant. If you have an old photo of yourself, cut out your head in the photo and glue it on the giant body you have draw. Be sure to make the other things in the picture small! |
Plant a TreeTalk with parents about the possibility of planting a tree in your yard. If it is possible, visit a local nursery together. Learn the name of your tree and how it must be planted. Take care of your new tree and watch it grow with you! MAINEHave an adult help you find the state of Maine on a map. How far away is it from where you live now? Have you ever been to Maine? What words can you think of that rhyme with the word Maine? What is the meaning of the word main and mane? What other words begin with the letter M? Make a list of as many as you can think of.
