Despite her mother’s reminder that “navy blue is what you always get,” Gabby begs her grandfather to make her a beautiful purple fall coat. LeVar takes viewers to the Fashion Institute of Technology and to New York City’s garment district to explore the fascinating world of clothing design, where he gets a coat made especially for him. Viewers also meet an artist who creates caricatures of people out of papier mâché. |

Have your child use the markers to color the cardboard shape Punch holes around the edge of the shape and as far into the center as possible. Wrap tape around one end of a length of yarn for easy threading. Now your child is ready to thread the yarn in and out to “sew” around the shape. |
