Appelemando’s DreamsLanguage: English | |
Appelemando spends so much of his time dreaming, the villagers are convinced that he will not amount to much. In time his dreams change the village and the people in it. In this video LeVar explores art techniques and shows how expression through art comes in many different forms. |

Sewing Cards
Patchwork Pictures
Paper Towel MagicYour little artist needs white paper towels and food coloring to create these colorful surprises. Pour small amounts of food coloring into containers. Have your child fold a paper towel several times and then dip each corner of the folded towel into a different color of food coloring. Then for the fun part – unfold the towel and lay it flat to dry. No two designs will be alike. |
Crayon Melt-DownWork with your child to use old crayons and a kitchen grater to make crayon shavings. Have your child arrange some of the shavings in the center of a sheet of waxed paper. Cover with another sheet the same size. An adult can then press with a hot iron. See what amazing color patterns result! Perfect Play Dough
