When people make crayons, they mix together hot liquid wax, some hardening
powder and some pigment, which gives the crayons their color. The liquid
wax is emptied into a bucket then poured into a mold with lots of holes.

Each hole will be filled with the hot wax. When it has cooled, the liquid
wax becomes hard and the machine pops the finished crayons up through the
holes!

After the crayons get paper labels wrapped around them, people take them to
the collating machine where lots of different colors are put together in a
group.

Each group of crayons is put into a box. Now they're ready to be shipped to
stores everywhere so people can buy them and use them!
