Have you ever wondered how cartoons are made? Start with a simple picture of a character. Next, make another that is almost the same, but just a bit different from the first. Do this again and again, until you have a stack -- each picture a little changed from the next. Finally, hold them together in order and thumb though them quickly, so that you see one after another. Voilà! You've fooled the eye -- the character seems to move! That's the idea behind cartoons or animation. Now make your own animation. Read the directions and then choose a flip book below.
