PBS Kids Share A Story
Back to Stories If you weren't allowed to watch TV
for a whole week, what would you do instead?
If I couldn't watch TV for a week, I could catch up on any school work I'm missing. I could type a story up, as well.

-Natalie, age 12

I would play inside games.

-Rachel, age 3

If I couldn't watch TV for a whole week, I would go to the mall. I'd also play on the computer.

-Sydney, age 8

If I could not watch TV, I would draw and color. I would also read books and listen to music.

-Louvelle, age 5

If I couldn't watch TV for a week, I would play on the computer. When my dad works on the computer, I would play with my toys.

-Tina, age 7

I would play with my brother and sister.

-Michelle, age 5

Well, we have lots of kids in our neighborhood, so I would go play with them. Or if I had to play by myself, I would go fishing because I have a creek behind my house. That's what I would do if I couldn't watch TV for a whole week.

-Chloe, age 9

I would play with my toys.

-Damonica, age 7

If I couldn't watch TV for a week, I would play a board game when it's hot outside for a whole week.

-Yannick, age 9

If I couldn't watch TV for a week, I would play the computer, have fun at school, and have fun with my brother.

-Molly, age 7
