On my birthday I get to go to bed late. My mom gives me lots of presents. I get to go wherever I want. But best of all, my birthday is this month.

-Nicole Ann, age 7

On my birthday, Sept. 4, I invite all my friends to come over to my house. I always have cake for my dessert. I put on party hats and play games, and sometimes I`ll watch a movie. I can choose what I`m going to eat. I`ll play with my dolls and Barbies. When I`m done eating my supper, I`ll open my gifts from all my friends and my family. My family always sings to me when I wake up.

-Jessica, age 7
