A dog named Poddle
he's scared of Noodle,
A dog named Flip he's scared to Slip,
A dog named Bun he's scared to have Fun.!!!

-Husseina, age 8

I thought it would be nice, to fill my hand up with ice. The sting was fierce, the sense came from my toes to my ears,my eyes were filled with water, oh why did I ever bother, to put ice in my hands?! But I do not have to worry now, because all is done, but never again will I ever act so dumb! The quesion will haunt me, just like being a puppet on strands, why oh why did I put ice in my hands?

-Alyssa, age 11

At the end of the day where do teachers go? Do they ride horses in wild west shows? With singing voices high and low? Don't ask me because I don't know.

-Sophia, age 7

One day I ate a BEAN,
The next day someone was MEAN,
Last week my mom couldn't BEND,
Now this is the END.

-Haylee, age 8

I watch TV,
I play some ball.
There's nothing here
To do at all.
I eat a snack,
I read a book.
Would you like
to take a look?
I want to have a friend to play. My mother says,
"Not today"
All my summer days are gray
When there's nothing to do!

-Madi, age 12

One hot summer day a blue whale came to play.
I did not know what to think.
Oh no, he spilt a jar of ink!
His fish bowl is quite some size
and he has two great big eyes.
And he has a swishey
tail that's the size of another whale.
When he moves it makes a great big smack.
Oh no not now, the zoo is coming around by big blue!
I had to say that was an exciting day!

-David, age 11

My dad gave me a dollar and I started to holler.

-Hailee, age 9

I was riding my bike when I saw my friend Mike.
I asked him,"Have you seen my brother Tim?"
He said,"No" So I rolled over my toe
then I went home and I started to write a poem.

-Danielle, age 9
