8 What did it feel like as a kid to be in the media spotlight?

At first, being in the spotlight was fun. Yippi Yi Yo, cowboy! We're stars! But after a couple of times, it got to be wearing. We were in peril at school, and after school, we'd have to give news conferences, and it was just difficult to play all those roles. And yet, the news reporters were very nice to us. And they saved our lives by being there and taking pictures. You know, it's awful hard to hang somebody when there's a camera pointing at your face. I'm sure we wouldn't be alive today without those guys. And it made me want to become a reporter.
