What do you have to learn to become a pilot?
You don't have to be mathematics major, but you need to have good math
skills. Navigation -- plotting a course -- involves geometry, so you need to know some of that. But there are computer navigation programs that can help you. You have to learn about weather. And some degree of mechanical knowledge is good. It helps to know as much as possible about the plane you're flying.
