5 What was the first plane you owned?

I was 14 when my Dad got an old Stearman biplane in his shop that needed a lot of parts and fixing up. I worked out a deal with him. I'd get the bare bones of the airplane, and I would work on it and try and make a whole plane. So any money I got, I put toward the Stearman. I bought a piece here and a piece there--wing sections and engine parts. It took a lot of work and time and patience, but I got it running. I used that plane to get my pilot's license when I was 17. I still fly it. And I use another Stearman in my air show.
