Do you have any advice for kids who'd like to work in a museum when they are
older?
Visit museums of all kinds. And get involved with museums now. Many museums
have junior guide or curator programs. Kids worked on the Gold Rush project
here. And we've had kids who have grown up at the museum and then gone on to
museum careers. We've even hired some of them back later. Also, remember that
subjects like history, anthropology, art, and science can lead to museum
careers as well.
