Are most of the old tourist attractions still around today?
Most of the older, smaller ones have dried up. They just can't compete
with the big places like Disney, Universal Studios, and Six Flags. Also, most
of them were located on the older highways that have since been bypassed by
modern interstates. Many of the live animal places have disappeared, also,
which is really just as well. The owners generally did not treat the animals so
hot.
