Here's what you will need to make it:

  • slice of bread with the crusts removed

  • cream cheese - leave it out of the refrigerator for a little while so that it gets soft.

  • three tablespoons melted butter

  • some sugar mixed with a little bit of cinnamon

  • cookie sheet covered in aluminum foil

  • rolling pin

  • knife for spreading

  • knife for cutting
Here's what you have to do:

1. Check with a grown-up before you start this.

2. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. You can use a regular oven or a toaster oven.

3. Flatten the slice of bread by rolling over it with a rolling pin.

4. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the flattened bread.

5. Roll up the bread and seal the seam with more cream cheese.

6. Slice the roll into three pieces.

7. Dip each piece into the melted butter and then into the cinnamon and sugar.

8. Put them on a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil. This makes it easier to clean up.

9. Now put the snails in the oven and bake them for 8-10 minutes or until they are crisp and brown.

10. Let your snails cool a bit before eating.

11. Bon Appetit!
