Mini Trifles

Here's what you will need to make it:

  • lady finger cookies or pound cake

  • vanilla pudding-you can use store-bought, or make your own

  • jam

  • a banana

  • strawberries

  • whipped cream

  • knife

  • 9 oz. clear plastic cups

  • spoon

  • plastic wrap

Here's what you have to do:

1. Be sure to check with a grown-up and wash your hands before you begin.

2. Wash your strawberries and then cut them into slices with a knife. Peel your banana and slice that up too. If you're not allowed to use a knife, ask an adult for help.

3. Put two ladyfingers or some cake into the bottom of the cup and smoosh them down with your fingers.

4. Now put a spoonful of jam on the ladyfingers or cake. Use the back of the spoon to spread the jam around.

5. Add a layer of banana slices and a layer of strawberry slices.

6. Now add a layer of vanilla pudding.

7. Keep layering your ingredients until there's no more room in the cup.

8. Cover your trifle with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator to let the ingredients soak into the ladyfingers or cake overnight.

9. Remove your trifle from the refrigerator. Top it off with some whipped cream and dig in! Cheers!
