  Eggstacle Course list of games
Sent in by: Elizabeth of Drakes Branch, VA

EggShellent obstEggles to scramble through

This game is for 4 or more players and should be played outside in an open area because it can get very messy! Ask your parents for permission to play this game.

To play, you need 2 spoons, 2 big cardboard rectangles, 2 cans of shaving cream, 2 magic markers, 2 pads of paper, 2 rocking chairs, 2 cones to mark the end of each course (you can use empty soda bottles) and lots of hard-boiled eggs. (If you don't want to use eggs, you could use tennis balls.)

First, set up two Eggstacle courses. For each course, put the cardboard and shaving cream together. The pad of paper and magic marker go together too. Each course should also have a rocking chair and a cone (or bottle) to go around at the end.

The stations should be spread out over a 20 foot course.

Split into two even teams.

On the word "go," the first player for each team balances an egg on her spoon and runs over to the cardboard.

She picks up the shaving cream and writes her name on the cardboard.

She walks backwards to the pad of paper and writes the alphabet with the hand she doesn't normally write with.

She runs over to the rocking chair and rocks four times.

She walks around the cone and back to her team.

While she does all these things, she has to balance the egg on the spoon. If she drops her egg, she must stop where she is and rebalance the egg. If the egg is completely broken, a team member must replace it with a new one.

When the first player gets back to her team, she hands the egg and spoon off to the next player in line.

The first team to finish wins.
