A perplexing pressured pencil phenom.

How To Do it:


  1. Hold two pencils and push them tightly against each other to make an "X".

  2. Hold them completely still while someone else pretends to tie the pencils together. Have the person do this a few times.

  3. Now try to pull the pencils apart. What does it feel like?
