Ingredients
6 apples, peeled, cored and quartered varying from Golden Delicious, Fuji, granny smith, gala or another favorite ½ - 1 cup apple juice (to desired consistency) 3 T. honey (optional) ½ t. ground cinnamon 1 pinch nutmeg (optional)

Microwave Blender or Potato Masher

Directions
1. In a sealable microwave container, combine apples with all other ingredients. Cutting or chopping apples into smaller pieces may help for a faster cook time.
2. Close lid, leaving one corner of lid open to allow steam to escape. Microwave on high for 10 minutes. Warning: Apples will come out hot!!
3. Using a blender or potato masher, blend to desired consistency.
4. Serve warm or chill for later use. Yum!
*Let kids sprinkle in the spices. After cooking, when apples have cooled, let kids mash them up!
