In-The-Round Ringmaster Megaphone

Supplies

  • Clear Tape
  • Curling ribbon (optional)
  • Heavy white paper or cardstock
  • Markers or crayons
  • Printable megaphone sheets - full color | black and white

Instructions

  1. Print the template featuring the Australian flag megaphone for all of your party guests! You can choose either the black and white or full color option.   (Tip: It will be helpful for an adult to make a sample in advance for children to imitate when they craft their own megaphone. Create small workstations so that the materials are easier to pass out to your group)
  2. Start by coloring the paper, then rolling the megaphone into a cone shape with an opening at each end and taping with the flag side overlapping. (Tip: At a party, craft making might go best if a grown-up Sprout walks around and helps Sproutlets tape their craft together. As children complete the craft, remember to write names on their work.)
  3. If you want to really jazz-up your megaphone, punch a few holes a half inch from the edge on the flag and embellish with a few short strands of matching curling ribbon.
  4. Now your guests are finished making a quick and easy craft that, with a little imagination, can be truly multi functional ---party craft-party favor-decoration and noisemaker!
