Octopus Tamborine

Supplies

• 2 paper plates
• Stapler
• Colored streamers
• Elbow macaroni
• Glue
• Safety scissors

 Instructions    

1. Glue blue tissue paper to the bottom of 1 paper plate and yellow tissue paper to the bottom of the other.
2. Get a grown-up to cut out 4 yellow tissue paper streamers and 4 blue tissue paper streamers.
3. Have a grown-up staple the paper plates together with the colors facing out, but leaving a 2" long section open to put the macaroni in.
4. Put the elbow macaroni in the hole and then staple the hole shut.
5. Shake your tambourine to make sure no macaroni falls out.
6. Now you have your very own octopus tambourine!
