Supplies
- Cookie Popper Template
- Heavy Cardstock
- Tissue paper or gift-wrap
- Clear tape
- Ribbon
- Metallic star stickers (optional)
- Small cookies
- Wax paper
- Large bowl or platter to display poppers
Instructions
- Grown-ups can start by baking round marble sized cookies with your favorite homemade or store bought cookie dough. Set them aside to cool completely while you work on your crafty party poppers.
- Print cookie popper templates enough for the cylinder roll to make at least one popper for each guest! (Suggestion: Use heavy cardstock so that your poppers will come out nice and sturdy!)
- With the help of a grown-up, use safety scissors to cut out the shape, roll into a cylinder and tape into shape.
- Fill a small square of wax paper with enough cookies to fit into the tube that you have made. Wrap your cookies and slip it inside.
- Wrap each popper with tissue paper or gift-wrap that matches your Sprout Pajama Party theme.
- Color and embellish with metallic star stickers like The Goodnight Show’s night sky.
- Tie one end closed with ribbon, then string the ribbon across to the other end, and tie again, creating a handle that your Sproutlets can use to transport their beautiful cookie party poppers home!
