Nina shows you how to make an etching by shading a piece of paper with colored crayons, covering the colors with black crayon and scratching through the black with a popsicle stick.

Supplies

  • White paper
  • Black and colored crayons
  • Popsicle stick

 

Instructions

  1. Color the entire piece of paper with patches of different crayon colors.
  2. Cover the entire paper with a layer of black crayon.
  3. Use the popsicle stick to carve a picture into the page and reveal a colorful design!
