Nina shows you how to make Silly Animal Headbands out of construction paper and tape.

Supplies

Construction paper
Tape or glue
Safety scissors
Pencil/pen/markers/crayons
Pompoms, pipe cleaners, or any other fun, silly decorations
 

Instructions

  1. Ask a grown up Sprout to measure your head.
  2. Cut out strips of construction paper with the help of a grown up Sprout. Tape or glue them together so they will fit around your head.
  3. Think of any animal that you would like to be. Pick some fun colored construction paper and draw and cut out ears.
  4. With the help of a grown up Sprout, cut a small strip of construction paper that will hang from the front of the band to the tip of your nose and glue that to the front of your animal headband.
  5. Glue a pompom to the strip as a nose.
  6. Use your imagination to decorate your silly animal headband!
