Materials

  • Paper plate
  • Paper fasteners
  • Construction paper, plain or colored
  • Colored pencils, markers or crayons
  • Invisible tape
  • Safety scissors
  • Any other decorations that will make your clock one-of-a-kind!

Instructions

  1. Ask a grown-up to help you cut two arrows out of construction paper, one should be larger than the other.  These arrow shapes will make the hour and minute hands for your clock.
  2. Count as a grown-up helps you write the numbers one through twelve in a circle on your clock face with markers or crayons.
  3. Ask a grown-up to help you attach the hands to the middle of the paper plate with the fastener.
  4. Practice changing the time by moving the hands around your clock! Tick-tock!
